PCDC Relocation Information-

Montgomery County Community College leases this building to PCDC and they are looking forward to giving our space some upgrades, including:

• Upgrading the HVAC system  (cooler rooms and hallways!)

• Enhanced features in Exploration Studio (better amenities for our arts, crafts & experiements)

• Exterior improvements (new accessible ramp, brick work, windows)

During this construction period we will temporarily move operations less than 1/4 mile from here to MCCC’s South Hall and create the “PCDC Extension”. See this map. Some of our smaller exhibits will move with us and we will create new ones to fit the new space. We expect to be operating in South Hall for about 4 months. There is plenty of parking and some really cool features in South Hall.

• And, of course, we will still have our rotation of arts & crafts, themed activities, family-focused fun, and our friendly staff members.

We recognize this temporary relocation is not ideal and our favorite customers- your kids- may miss a few of our big exhibits during construction. We thank you for your patience and will work very hard to make the “PCDC Extension" a lot of fun in the meantime. We will continue to update you on the construction, our new programs, and exhibits in the extension as time goes on.
